Q.: |
Does Pantech&Curitel (Telit) support OMA SyncML DS over OBEX ? |
A.: |
GU-1100 includes the Mobile Leader OMA DS client. HTTP client is missing. The SyncML over OBEX client is not advertised in Bluetooth or USB CDC. IrDA is not supported by this phone at all. The Bluetooth OBEX Push profile does not give access to SyncML. The OBEX capability object is not supported. You have to use the USB CDC ACM or the Bluetooth Dial-up Networking service. There is no support for AT+CPROT=0. This is used: AT+SyncML=<n>,<AlertCode>,<DataStore>[…]
<n>: |
1-4 = number of datastores to sync |
<AlertCode>: |
1,6-10 = Alert Code 2xx |
<DataStore>: |
1 = Contacts |
2 = Calendar |
3 = Memos |
4 = Tasks |
[…]: |
if <n> is larger than 1 append ‘,<AlertCode>,<DataStore>’ <n>-1 times |
For example AT+SyncML=4,1,1,1,2,1,3,1,4 would start a slow sync with all datastores and AT+SyncML=1,6,1 would start a two-way sync with the contacts.
The phone answers with OK and an OBEX connect request. With a Server Alerted Sync conforming to the OMA DS specification, the computer is the OBEX client and the SyncML server. In this case, the computer is the OBEX and SyncML server.
The SyncML client is configured to use XML instead of WBXML. |
